Liikkukaa together with Let’s rise TV, Cosmos Juniors & Nordic Diversity Trainers is organizing a #FootballPeople Tournament on the 11.10.2020 in Suvela, Espoo.
Logistics and how to join
The tournament is held on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of October.
Time: 12-18 on Sunday
The games will be played between 13.00-17.00
There will be referees to ensure organized games
Music & preparations will start at 12.00 on both days
As a community warm up there will be a basic latin dance class at 12.30 and anyone can participate
There will be different communal activities between 17.00-17.45 & there will be the End of tournament celebration and announcement of winner ceremony at 17.45-18.00
There will be music playing at all times and there will also be small side activities like football tennis set up next to the fields so that those who are not playing can enjoy themselves and meet new people :)
The field is turf (tekonurmi)
Teams and requirements
There will be a total of 10 teams
Each team can have up to 11 players
The games are 7v7 - so 1 goal keeper and 6 people on the field
The teams are mixed, so each team needs to have both men/boys and women/girls in their team and on the field at all times
If you don’t have a team but would like to come play, you can sign up as an individual person or smaller group and we will make a team out of individuals for you :)
The minimum age for playing is 17 years
Each ready made teams need to have a captain that will participate in a online 30 minute call on Friday the 9.10.2020 via zoom at 10.00 to go through the rules and regulations. This is mandatory, to ensure a safe and fair tournament
